Woof!!

Duncan's bath was a breeze yesterday afternoon. He enjoyed playing in the warm water, and the attention and the scrubbing. Then he enjoyed shaking and drying himself by rubbing on the dry grass of the lawn. And now he smells like baby shampoo instead of something unknown and stomach turning.

We awoke this morning to a light dusting of snow, a bit like confectioners sugar dusted on a cake. Though the roads were a bit messy I am glad for the return of a lacy layer of snow. It is after all only January. There is a lot of winter remaining.

Well all right - this picture of Duncan was taken in November - but it is Duncan not smelling so bad, and snow. A lot more snow then, than today, but hey I choose to take "author's license". Or is that Poetic license?.
