All warm and toasy

At last, the power came back on to stay about 6:30 pm last night while we were in the process of getting the Coleman lanterns fueled and lit. It took until bedtime to get the house back to normal temperatures. None of it seemed to bother Duncan at all. dogs are tough. Or maybe no sense no feeling. The house, on the other hand, had plenty to say about the situation. As the the interior temperature dropped, the tongue and groove hard wood floors popped and cracked in protest to the change in environment as the boards moved against each other. Then when the heat came back on the floors popped and cracked again as they returned to normal temperatures.
